Vienna in November

I'm very happy I returned to this city after 13 years. I must admit, I liked it much more this time... :)
The highlight of this trip was a visit on the outskirts of Vienna, to a neighborhood situated on a beautiful hill, where one can enjoy numerous wine restaurants serving "young wine" and other superb wines.

Budapest reloaded

Budapest in August.

A town that doesn't need additional comments. Only that in August there are too many toursists on the streets, which kills part of the city's charm.

Obzor - Sea & Sun

The Bulgarian Coast - one of my favourite places to be in the summer. :)

White wines - Cherven Misket, Kaliakra Misket, Chan Krum Traminer, Targovishte Traminer, Pomorie Muscat, Tcherga Menada Rose.

Beer - Burgasko, Ledenika.

Rakia- Pomorie Muskatova.

Lom Valley - Welcome summer!

Lom Valley - Beautiful Canyon south of Ruse. Crazy vegetation and a beautiful national park. Cherven, Ivanovo and Basarabovo stone churches are a must see. We mingled with the party loving people of Koshov. :)

Wines: Preslav Chardonnay, Pomorie Traminer 2006, Mezeek Rose, Domain Boyar Muscat, Suhindol Chardonnay.

Beers: Shumensko, Bolyarka.

Rakia: various... :)

May Day Ruse

1st of May celebrated Ruse style. Good food & wine.

Wine - Targovishte Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc

Beer - Zagorka

...and for food, the stewed lamb intestines, are a must at Chiflika. :)

Paris

Paris - for me sounds more like Pastis... :) It was nice to see this town in April...Wine - Gewurtztraminer from Alsacia Ritzenhaler, Rose Ksara (Lebanese wine!), Sauvignion Blanc Appelation Sennecay, Normandy Cider, Kir.

Spirits - Pastis (of course) Calvados.
